Give a Damn, Make a Difference

“What am I even doing with this podcast?”

Have you ever asked that question? It’s a very human, honest, and natural question to ask not only of a podcast, but of any project or life endeavor.

Questioning the status quo is a great thing to do…whether it be of your podcast, business, habits, or…world affairs. 👀

When this question of existential crisis comes up for your podcast, remember this: Your podcast is making a difference in the lives of others. Here’s what my clients’ podcasts do for their listeners and viewers (redacted):

  • “I’ve never thought of my financial planning this way. This is life-changing!’

  • “I didn’t know that about my body. This is going to help me, my sisters, and my daughter so much!”

  • “I never understood my nervous system like this. Thank you!”

  • “I can’t believe I’ve been breathing incorrectly all these years.”

  • “I’m much more prepared to be a parent thanks to your podcast.”

  • “It now makes sense how my past trauma has been affecting my ability to make money in the present.”

  • “I feel so inspired to launch my course thanks to your motivation.”

  • “I look forward to tuning in every week because I love hanging out with the host and I know I’ll learn something new in each episode.”

👉 Keep a notebook or virtual note of every time someone gives your podcast some love. This can include reviews of your podcast, emails, YT/Spotify comments, spoken compliments, social media comments, or even your own words of encouragement.

😎 Use a service like SpeakPipe to have your listeners record clips that you can play on your podcast. This is a cool idea for a landmark episode, such as episode #50, #100, etc.

🧭 When the podcast compass seems to be fluttering around, and you feel you’ve lost direction…

⭐️ May your mission to serve your listeners and viewers be your north star!

I appreciate you,

Zack
