who does the podcast man work with?

which services of the podcast man are most commonly used?
All clients of mine use the Editing and Publishing base services (with the exception of a couple who publish on their own). The most common add-ons are the Show Notes + Web Posting Add-on followed by the Human Transcription Add-on. This allows the client to send over their raw episode audio plus any additional instruction (if necessary) and essentially forget about the backend stuff. In this example, The Podcast Man takes care of beautifying the audio, publishing to all the directories, writing the show notes, writing and publishing the episode’s blog post and making sure the transcription is live on the blog post and directories (when applicable). This allows the client to focus on creating and recording amazing episodes!
Does The Podcast Man help with marketing?
The Podcast Man provides many resources such as monthly Guest Expert Workshops, CLIENTS ONLY - a private podcast for clients, The State of Podcasting - the monthly newsletter, connections to other industry professionals and more! I’ll help you as much as possible with marketing and strategy topics and I’ll refer you out for the tasks I can’t help with.
How does The Podcast Man and clients stay organized?
We use a project management system called ClickUp. All episodes and other tasks + communication are organized inside the system.
is the podcast man’s client support really as awesome as it sounds?
Yes, being from Minnesota, one of my favorite parts of business is chatting! If my team and I can’t figure something out for you, I’ll find someone who can! I generally respond same day, if not almost right away to Voxer messages from my clients.
how long does it take to launch a podcast?
With help from The Podcast Man, your podcast can be launched in a month or less. Though I do all the nitty gritty, behind the scenes included in launching, you’ll still be required to provide information and materials, as well as the launch episode audio for me to process.
what is a podcast host?
A podcast host stores and helps distribute your podcast and its episodes. I require my clients use Buzzsprout or Libsyn. This is an additional charge almost always ranging between $12 and $20 per month, depending on frequency and length of episodes as well as desired features. Most of my clients never log into their hosting accounts since I take care of everything inside there for them.
what does publishing mean?
Publishing an episode is done inside the host by loading in the episode and making sure all the info is configured correctly. Outside the context of podcasting, publishing can also mean publishing a post inside your website. The Podcast Man can help with both of these publishing duties.
what are show notes?
Show notes (also known as episode description) is the info accompanying a podcast episode, usually including a short summary, followed by key points (with their respective time stamps) and also including links to resources mentioned in the episode. You’ll see show notes inside the directories as well as on podcasters’ episode posts on their websites.
is it hard to get started?
Since The Podcast Man is a done-for-you service, you don’t have to run around wrangling up YouTube tutorials and buying courses to figure out how to launch. That said, there’s still a good amount of info I’ll need from you to launch.
From a gear standpoint, I have guides to help you along the way and we can hop on zoom any time to test out your setup and process. You don’t have to get gear anxiety about which mic, cables, headphones, etc are best for you. I’m here to help!

what’s the podcast man’s turn around time?
We can launch your podcast in as little as a few weeks’ time if you’re ready to rock! General turnaround time to launch is around a month to 6 weeks. Once launched, I’ll need raw audio from you 3-4 days before the episode is to go live.
how does billing work with the podcast man?
The Podcast Man bills monthly from the time of service start, not beginning of month. For example, a billing cycle could be October 5 - November 4, then November 5 - December 4, etc. If there’s a period of time during the launch process in which I’m waiting on you and not working, I won’t bill you for this time.
