Show notes + web posting add on

 

the lowdown:

Having show notes and a podcast player on your website is a fantastic way to connect with your listeners. It’s also a slick way to build your email list with opt-ins for additional content. But, show notes and the website player can be hard to keep up with for every single episode. When I handle this, you don’t have to worry about it. I’ll take care of all the details of writing, editing and publishing your show notes with an emphasis on search engine optimization so that your episodes can be found.

how it works:

The show notes I provide will generally be between 300 and 600 SEO optimized words, depending on the length of the episode. The general format will be as follows (though you can request changes in format):

  • Topics discussed and salient points, takeaways.

  • A couple/few paragraphs summarizing the episode including hooks/teasers for people that are visiting the show notes who are still deciding whether or not to listen to the episode.

  • Your guest or guests’ social media links, websites, call to action, if applicable.

  • Your links, call to action, etc. for the specific episode.

  • Any other resources discussed on the show.

You may also provide repeated copy such as info on how to subscribe, resources, courses, etc. that are universal across all your episodes, etc.

I will also embed the audio player for the episode into the post. I can schedule the post to go live, but you’ll be responsible for other “bells and whistles” of the blog post, such as post categories, tags, etc. (items found on the right panel if you use Wordpress, for example). I can also handle basic “universal” tasks such as choosing the “podcast” category if that’s applicable to all of your podcast posts as well as adding in the specific episode image, if applicable. Decisions on what I will or will not modify inside your blog posts will be discussed before we being and I do hold the right to accept or reject requests to complete certain tasks inside your blog posts.

All that being said, if you’d prefer I don’t login to your website, I could also send you the show notes as a word document in the ClickUp production portal along with the episode embed code that I would usually send you anyway, in the episode’s task.

pricing:

Unless we’ve arranged otherwise, pricing is as follows:

  • $275 per month for up to 5 episodes up to 60 minutes each.

  • $180 per month for up to 3 episodes up to 60 minutes each.

  • Additional episodes beyond your monthly limit of 3 or 5 episodes will cost $60 per add-on, per episode. (except Video Editing + Publishing)

  • Episodes over 60 minutes in length will be billed at $1 per overage minute.

  • As with the editing/publishing package, there will be no rollover of episodes or minutes.

  • Special pricing available.

  • As with all other offered services, satisfaction is guaranteed!
