A big part of your podcast’s success lies in your belief in your podcast. Like any project or venture in life, it’s much more likely to thrive if we believe it will. The energy we put into it is what we get out of it.
I highly encourage you, podcaster, to not only nominate your own podcast for awards, but also rally your tribe behind it. Your podcast doesn’t exist to pump up your own ego.
Your podcast exists:
To change the lives of your podcast’s listeners/viewers.
To serve your business in a productive manner.
And for general enjoyment, of course!
So, if you’re feeling a little humble about submitting your own podcast for awards (or even talking about/promoting your own podcast), remember: your podcast is bigger than you. It’s changing lives.
